All you need to know about the Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai has released its third 100% electric vehicle, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, following on from the Ioniq and the Kona SUV. This is the latest addition to the "Ioniq" range. As announced some time ago, the Korean manufacturer Hyundai released its new little jewel of motorized technology last June: the Hyundai Ioniq 5. It is divided into three ranges. The first model has a less powerful battery than the other two. The other two differ in the number of motors. One has just one, while the second has two. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a family-friendly electric car, making it a direct competitor to the Volkswagen ID4, with which it shares many similarities. It is also a competitor to the Ford Mustang Mach-e, the famous American manufacturer's 100% electric model. We'll take a closer look at it later, but this car gives us a foretaste of the future, not least in its fluid, dynamic appearance.

Design and appearance of the Hyundai Ioniq 5

To design this car, Hyundai drew inspiration from the EV45 concept , which you can see below.

As previously mentioned, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has a deliberately futuristic look, with a tailgate featuring numerous LEDs. It measures 4m63 in length for 1.89m wide and finally 1m65 in height. In other words, it's relatively spacious, which means we're particularly comfortable inside the vehicle.
