The Hyundai electric brand is very popular with French motorists. In fact, electric models are among the top-selling electric cars for the 1st half of 2022such as the Hyundai Kona Electric for example.
1. Hyundai Kona Electric
Launched in 2018, this 100% electric SUV is offered in 2 powertrains (39.2 and 64 kWh) with a range of up to 484 km on a single charge.

In fact, according to media reports, a 2nd generation will be unveiled in late 2023, and will then be available in dealerships in the 1st half of 2024, with a larger footprint. The menu will include 3 hybrid and one electric powertrain.
2. Hyundai Ioniq 6
While the brand with the big H launched the IONIQ 5 at the beginning of 2022, the 6th generation is scheduled for the end of 2022 to get off to a good start the following year.
This new IONIQ 6, announced for 2020, will be Hyundai's 1ʳᵉ electric sedan, with a 4.85 m long exterior design. At first glance, this electric sedan looks like a Mercedes-Benz E-Class or a Tesla Model S or the Model Y.
3. Hyundai Ioniq 7
Also in the IONIQ series, Hyundai plans to release an electric electric SUV with 7 seats: the IONIQ 7, which will be the Korean brand's largest electric vehicle. Expected to go on sale in 2024, there's a good chance that in 2023 the automaker will unveil the definitive version of the electric SUV. With the arrival of the Hyundai IONIQ 7, this SUV will rival the Mercedes EQB and the Tesla Model X.
With the capacity to carry a large battery, the Hyundai IONIQ 7 will have a range in excess of 600 km, enabling you to cover long distances. As for its power, this should go beyond 150 km, to recharge the electric car in 30 min from 0 to 80%.
As we said earlier, the Ioniq 7 is expected to see the light of day in early 2024, according to the Korean manufacturer. The price has yet to be announced.
Electric Kia
As for Kia, this other Korean brand has proposed a number of electric cars for 2022, with equipment that meets the needs of today's buyers.
In fact, according to Kia Corporation, 11,964 of the Korean brand's electric cars were registered in France in the first half of 2022, representing 52% of sales..

4. Kia EV6
One of the electric cars that has seduced many motorists, both visually and technically, is the Kia EV6. In fact, it was voted the best electric car of 2022, beating out the Renault Megane E-Tech and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

5. Kia Niro EV

6. Kia EV9
This electric car will be a first for Kia electric the Kia EV9.
Although this new electric SUV will be presented to the general public in 2023, it is still being tested and fine-tuned in South Korea, before being unveiled to the world.
For this Kia EV9, the South Korean manufacturer wants to offer motorists and passengers comfort on board. To achieve this, the future SUV is put through its paces, such as on cobblestones, testing different driving styles and on all types of terrain (from the slowest to the fastest), to test the car's durability in the face of the various tests.
In terms of performance, with a power output of 585 hp, it will have an electrical capacity of 77.4 kWh for a minimum range of 500 km.
In terms of design, although photographers have been able to get a few shots, the final design has yet to be unveiled. All we know is that this SUV has an imposing size, with its :

- 2 m wide
- 1 m high
- 3 m wheelbase
