The CCS combo socket is the popularized name given to a type of charging socket for electric vehicles.
The Combo CCS (Combined Charging System) socket comes in the form of two sockets, the first in the upper part - a round type 2 connector (for alternating current) - the second for rapid recharging (direct current).
Its name simply reflects this double juggling act between alternating and direct current.
It originates from American and European companies.
