Current situation complicates deliveries
The current supply situation and the existing high order backlog will lead to delays in deliveries of electric vehicles. Indeed, the German brand estimates that the ID.3 Pro Life, Business, Style, Max and ID.3 Pro S Tour models will not be delivered to customers before the fourth quarter of 2023.
Production of the upgraded ID.3 will, of course, have started by then. This means that the vehicle delivered will not be the one indicated by the configurator or on the contract when the customer places the order; instead, customers will receive the improved ID.3 model. The vehicle may differ from the initial order, but this will be to the customer's advantage. For example, the steering wheels were previously trimmed in leather, which will be replaced by a higher-quality leather substitute.
