What is a charging station?
A charging station is a fixed device connected to a switchboard (or socket), used to recharge the battery of an electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle. A charging station may have one or more charging points, with a mobile plug at the end. This socket must be connected to the vehicle's charging base, in order to recharge the battery.
How much does a charging station cost?
On average, the price of a corporate charging station is proportional to the number of charging points and depends on the structure of the parking lot.
The average cost of two charge points in an unprepared parking lot is €10,000 if civil engineering is involved. Depending on your activity, you may be able to reclaim VAT and apply for regional or ADVENIR subsidies. As a rough guide, a fast charging station will cost more. You'll also need to take into account the cost of installation (including the number of charging points, their wattage, roadworks and the distance between the electricity meter and the charging point), as well as the contracts (supervision and maintenance) to which you'll need to subscribe, in order to access Advenir assistance.

The ADVENIR is a financing program to support the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.
