How good is the new Renault Megane electric?

Renault Megane electric

The new 100% electric Renault Megane, the Megane E-Tech electric, is due to hit the market by 2022 to compete with the Volkswagen ID3. We give you all the info you need to know.

Unveiled to the general public at the Munich Motor Show, the first automotive event since the COVID 19 crisis, the new 100% electric Renault Megane, whose real name is the Megane E-tech electric, has been announced for the first quarter of 2022. One thing's for sure: it's a Megane in name only! Indeed, this model has little in common with its predecessors. According to the manufacturer, "We started from scratch to develop this electric Megane". We'd like to think so, given the clear differences.

The compact sedan stands out from the other models in the series for its size. Indeed, it is one of the few models in a series to lose volume rather than gain it.

Measuring 14 centimetres shorter than the current Megane, it is the first model to bear the new Renault brand logo.
