Volkswagen e-Crafter
The Volkswagen e-Crafter is a 100% electric commercial vehicle. It is the first from the Volkswagen brand. With a maximum power output of 100 kW(136 hp), the Volkswagen e-Crafter accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
In preparation for the development of e-Crafter, Volkswagen Utility Vehicles studied over 210,000 driving profiles collected from more than 1,500 customers. The studies showed that most drivers cover between 70 and 100 km a day. And it's precisely at these distances - often characterized by frequent starts and stops - that the new e-Crafter is designed.
More than 25 German, Dutch, British and Swedish companies took part in the latest e-Crafter tests. They integrated a fleet of 38 Volkswagen e-Crafter models into their fleets. The tests were a success, enabling the manufacturer to validate its concept. The Volkswagen e-Crafter starts at €57,100 (excluding tax) in France.
