Make a success of your installation of recharging stations in Pas-de-Calais.
Ne're here to help and answer all your questions.
If you live in the Hauts-de-France region, you may know better than us that the region has been heavily promoting ecomobility within its boundaries. The region offers a wide range of grants, in addition to those from the French government, for the purchase of electric vehicles and the installation of charging stations.
This has worked out rather well, as Hauts-de-France is one of the best-equipped regions in terms of the number of charging points per inhabitant, with more than 2,200 operating throughout the country. More generally, the region is committed to sustainable development, with all its charging points powered by green electricity, such as :
The support provided by the region for the purchase of clean vehicles is also having an impact. In the first half of 2021 alone, more than 18,753 electric vehicles as well as new plug-in hybrids, were sold in Normandy. And this trend is set to accelerate over time, as more and more manufacturers move into electric vehicles. These include conventional brands such as Peugeot and Volkswagen, as well as luxury brands such as Porsche and Rolls-Royce. Rolls-Royce plans to launch its first electric model in 2023 and to be fully electric by 2030, like its British counterpart Bentley.
The Pas-de-Calais has a large number of second homes, which considerably increases the number of visitors to these seaside areas in the high season.
Despite the charging network in the Pas-de-Calais, its facilities are not yet sufficient to meet demand during peak periods. The region is facing a real headache, because the charging points, which are overloaded during the summer season, are not as popular during the rest of the year. SDEC accuses some motorists of "squatting to excess at certain recharging points while they are at the beach, thereby blocking recharging for other users.

IMPORTANT: these bonuses for charging points open to the general public in private car parks and for intermediate target groups (hotels, restaurants and shops), have been withdrawn from the ADVENIR programme since 1 August 2023.
Good news: the ADVENIR programme has been extended until 2027with the aim of financing 250,000 recharging points to support the transition to electric mobility.
