The MG5's maximum power output is 105 kW(143 hp), and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds.

The MG5 starts at €24,990 for sale in France. This price includes VAT. This price does not include the ecological bonus, which is deducted when you buy a new clean vehicle in France. In addition to the ecological bonus, you may also be eligible for the conversion bonus and regional grants.

Vehicle charging

The MG5 battery has a total capacity of 44.5 kWh. Usable capacity is 44.5 kWh. Range is around 263 km with a 100% charged battery. Actual range, however, will depend on a number of factors, including climate, road conditions, whether or not air conditioning is used, and driving style.

Recharging is via a Type 2 connector, and the on-board charger has a maximum output of 11 kW. This means that a fully discharged battery can be recharged in around 8 hours. Charging the car using a domestic wall socket will take around 6 hours and 15 minutes.

Fast charging is possible via a CCS connection. The maximum fast-charging power is 80 kW. The battery cannot be charged continuously at this power. In an average fast charge session, the average charging power will be around 60 kW. This enables the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in around 40 minutes.
