Tesla was founded in 2003 by a group of engineers led by Elon Musk, who wanted to prove that it was possible to drive an electric vehicle without making compromises. Indeed, for Tesla electric vehicles could be more efficient, faster and more fun to drive than conventional combustion vehicles. In July 2020, Tesla dethroned Toyota for stock market valuation, yet Tesla sold 300 times fewer vehicles. What's even more astonishing is that Tesla only offers 4 models in its catalog, so the choice is limited. We'll have to wait for the Cybertruck pickup, which is still being improved, the new Roadster, which is being prepared for the Nurburgring record in 2021, and probably a city car to round out the range, which will be mainly dedicated to the European market. How much does an electric Tesla cost?
The price of an electric Tesla can vary according to the model chosen and the engine. Tesla offers three different powertrains for the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y(Rear-wheel Drive, Long Range and Performance).
If you choose a standard powertrain, the cars will range in price from €44,990 for the Model 3 to €121,990 for the Tesla Model X.
