Since July 2022, pre-2011 diesel vehicles (Crit'Air 3 & 4 & 5 & unclassified stickers) and pre-2006 petrol vehicles are no longer allowed to drive from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Paris andwithin the perimeter of the A86 motorway (79 communes). The end of petrol and diesel vehicles is coming soon to the Greater Paris metropolitan area.

What are the conditions for receiving Île-de-France regional aid?
In 2024, here are the conditions to benefit from regional aid in Île-de-France for the purchase of clean vehicles:
- The scheme is open to all residents of the greater Paris region, regardless of where they work.
- Leasing with purchase option (LOA) and long-term leasing (LLD) are eligible for regional aid.
- Limited to 10 vans for companies.
- Valid for municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants for their municipal fleet.
- The final assembly of electric cars must take place in an EU country where less than 110g of CO2 are emitted to produce 1 kWh of electricity.
- Select an electric vehicle with a minimum range of 200 km.

Documents required for private individuals
The documents you need to apply for a credit or a LOA/LLD for your electric car:
- A copy of your last three pay slips. If you are retired or self-employed, you will be asked for your last one or two tax notices.
- A copy of your valid identity card or passport.
- Proof of address less than 3 months old. This can be a gas, electricity or telephone bill (even a cell phone bill), a rent receipt or a title deed.
A bank details form (RIB). - A signed and completed cheque for the amount of the first rent on your schedule. Payment of the first rent will only be made upon receipt of the vehicle.

How do you calculate your debt ratio?
The debt ratio must not exceed 33% of net household income. In other words, a banker will only accept your application if you can prove that your fixed expenses do not exceed 33% of your net income.
